Research Interests

I am part of the Service-Oriented, Cloud and Fog Computing (SOCC) research group and a founding member of the Pisa Quantum Group. My research focuses on methods, models, and tools for managing, executing, and evaluating complex computational systems across distributed, heterogeneous, and quality-constrained infrastructures.
  • Quantum Software Engineering
  • Quantum Software Engineering, distributed execution of quantum programs, circuit cutting, shot-wise distribution, quantum benchmarking, hybrid classical-quantum services, quantum software testing, quantum languages and abstractions.
  • Distributed Systems and Cloud-Edge Management
  • Multi-service applications and microservices, Cloud-Edge continuum, IoT devices, continuous management and continuous reasoning, declarative methodologies, QoS-aware orchestration, multi-cloud monitoring and benchmarking, smart environments and sustainable objectives.
