Giuseppe Bisicchia is currently a PhD student in a joint double-degree program between the University of Pisa and the University of Extremadura. His research lies at the intersection of Quantum Computing and Software Engineering. During his Master's studies, he was awarded a research scholarship funded by the GARR Consortium, contributing to projects on the orchestration of multi-service applications in large-scale, heterogeneous Cloud-Edge environments. He graduated with honors with a double Master's degree in Computer Science, as part of a joint program between the University of Pisa and the University of Málaga. He is currently collaborating with the University of Pisa as a teaching assistant for the Cloud Computing course. In parallel with his academic work, Giuseppe is actively involved in science communication: he delivers introductory courses in programming and robotics aimed at primary and secondary school students, and organizes free educational events designed for a young and curious audience. Since 2018, he has also been a volunteer mentor for Pisa CoderDojo, where he guides children in exploring programming and computational thinking.
